Chat turds are random events that can happen in the chat from time to time. These events are easy to spot with their special banner and shiny Click button, but hard to predict. They can appear when you least expect it, so stay on alert! In these you can win random items, from stat boosters to cores to the namesake Hamster Turd (the very first reward given by a Chat Turd).

When interviewed, frequent tapper Zurs had this to say about "Churds":
